What is Dermal Filler?
We are now offering Dermal fillers in the Gold Coast. It is used to create volume and contour, it can be injected into various parts of the face to maintain youthful look. Some common areas are lips, cheeks, jaw line and chin. We use premium dermal fillers and have a wide range to suit every area and every client. In keeping with our safety-first approach, all of the dermal fillers we use are made from hyaluronic acid which are non-permanent fillers. These fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called Hyaluronidase.
What does the treatment involve?
After a detailed consultation the treatment will take around 30 minutes. A topical numbing cream will be applied to the area being treated to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. A small needle or cannula will be used to administer the filler into the target areas. The dermal fillers we use also contain lidocaine which is an anaesthetic for further comfort during treatment.
How often will I need dermal fillers?
Dermal filler treatments can last 6-18 months depending on the type of filler used, the area being treated and the individual.
What does the treatment cost?
Dermal filler treatments start from $499 per ml.
Pre and Post Care information
Avoid fish oil, NSAIDs (anti-inflammatory medications) , aspirin, and any other medications/supplements that have a blood thinning effect for 2 weeks prior to treatment. This will reduce the risk of bruising and swelling after treatment.
Do not rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours after treatment to avoid moving the product. Do not partake in strenuous exercise, prolonged exposure to sunlight or excessive alcohol intake for 24 hours after treatment.
To reduce the risk of infection do not apply makeup over the injection sites for 24 hours after treatment.
