Skin Needling Gold Coast

skin needling treatment

We are now offering Skin Needling in the Gold Coast. It is a non-invasive clinical treatment that uses microscopic needles to penetrate the skin within the epidermis and the dermis. Skin needling is also known as ‘Collagen Induction Therapy’ which allows the body to regrow and repair the skin from the micro damage through the wound healing response. This helps stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Some popular treatment areas are Face, Neck, Décolletage, and hands.

Skin needling can visibly improve the appearance of

  • Fine Lines
  • Wrinkles
  • Scar tissue
  • Stretch marks
  • Pigmentation
  • Acne, Problematic Skin
  • Enlarged Pores

What does the treatment involve?

Our skin needling device is one of the saftest and most comfortable micro needling devises on the market currently. Because of this most of our patients do not require topical numbing cream, although this can be used at the patients request.

The face is cleansed thoroughly with a double cleanse. A sterile skin needling device is then used to penetrate the skin using a hyaluronic acid serum as a glide for the device to make the treatment comfortable and to also boost results. The devise needle depth and speed can be adjusted depending on the area and concern being treated. Treatment takes around 15 minutes per area.

How often do l need to have Skin Needling?

It is recommended that patients have skin needling every 6-8 weeks. The number of treatments depends on the concerns you have. Like any rejuvenation treatment it is important to maintain some upkeep. After your initial treatments it is recommended that you have 1-2 treatments per year as top up treatments.
